Odessa, TX (April 28, 2016) – The Odessa Jackalopes, proud members of the North American Hockey League, are excited to announce center-man Hampus SJodahl has been named to the NAHL All-League Team. Sjodahl was given the 2015-16 South Division MVP and forward of the year earlier this week.
“It’s a huge honor and something I’m very proud of,” said Sjodahl. “I have to thank coach Gatto and my teammates for helping me reach this point… I’m just really grateful.”
Hampus (6-2/197), who is committed to Bemidji State (WCHA, D1), paced the Jacks by scoring 35 goals and tacking on 34 assists with a plus-16 rating in his final season of junior hockey, The Stockholm, SWE, native ended the regular season with the 2nd most goals in the league and the 3rd most points. Sjodahl ends his two-year Jacks career having played 115 games, scoring 54 goals, adding 49 assists and accumulating 50 penalty minutes (PIM).
