ODESSA, TX– In the spirit of Halloween, several Odessa Jackalopes players joined patients at the pediatric wing of Medical Center Hospital in Odessa on Monday to pass out candy, Jackalopes souvenirs and help spread the Halloween spirit.

Jacks captain Sheldon Taylor was joined at MCH by assistant captain Curt Rau, defensemen Jared Docken, Tyler Minx and Tyller Robert and forwards Matt Williams and Chris Benoit. The Jacks players delivered Halloween goodie-bags stuffed with Jacks T-shirts, souvenir pucks and of course plenty of tasty Halloween treats.

Fresh off a four-game homestand, the Jackalopes hit the road for a pair of games in Amarillo November 4th and 5th before returning home for a weekend series with the New Mexico Mustangs at Ector County Coliseum November 11th and 12th.

The Odessa Jackalopes celebrate their 15th Anniversary in 2011-12 and drop the puck on their inaugural campaign as a member of the North American Hockey League.  Season tickets, mini-plans, and single game tickets are available by calling (432) 552-7825 or by visiting the Jacks online at www.jackalopes.org.
