Team Will Fill Remaining Roster Spots through Draft
ODESSA, TX– Thursday at 1:00 PM the Odessa Jackalopes take part in their first NAHL player draft in order to fill our its training camp roster for the 2011-12 season.
Head Coach Paul Gillis and Team Scout Craig Sarner will work at selecting players to join the team for its final tryout camp in late July, before training camp beings in late August.
“This will be a new experience for some of us,” said Gillis. “(Sarner) is familiar with this process, so with his input combined with our hockey staff we’re looking forward completing this process and taking the next step towards preparing for the season.”
