ODESSA, TX–Jackalopes Head Coach Paul Gillis, Assistant Coach Matt Cressman, and General Manager Joe Clark were all on hand this week at Music City Mall Ice Arena for Jackalopes Youth Hockey Coordinator and former Jacks player Donnie Margettie's 'Penalty Box Hockey School,' for youth players.
Both this week's camp and the Jr. Jacks Youth Hockey program provide the Permain Basin's youngest hockey players with the opportunity to develop both their on-ice skills and general knowledge of the game.
2011-2012 marks the Odessa Jackalopes' 15th Anniversary Season and inaugural campaign as a member of the North American Hockey League. The Jacks drop the puck on their new era September 30th against the Corpus Christi IceRays in the 2011-2012 home opener.
