ODESSA, TX– In celebration of 15 years of Odessa Jackalopes Hockey, the Jacks are proud to announce the details of the "Jacks Fan Favorite" season ticket giveaway.
Throughout the last 15 years of Jacks hockey there have been countless unforgettable moments, great hockey players, and unique personalities, but as the 2011-12 season approaches, the Jackalopes need your help to identify Jacks fans' all-time favorite player!
Starting August 8th as part of the "Jacks Fan Favorite" Season Ticket Giveaway, Jacks fans can nominate their all-time favorite Jacks players by tweeting their picks to the official Jackalopes twitter account @LetsGoJacks and the official Odessa Jackalopes fan-page on facebook. Based on fan submissions, a group of player 5 finalists will be announced Monday, September 5th.
Starting that day, fans can vote for their all-time favorite player again on facebook and twitter until midnight on Thursday, September 29th with each vote entering the voter in a drawing for A PAIR OF 2011-12 JACKALOPES SEASON TICKETS!
The winner of both the "Jacks Fan Favorite" award and the pair of season tickets will be announced during the first intermission of the September 30th home opener against the Corpus Christi IceRays at the Ector County Coliseum.
IMPORTANT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: In order to win, fans must A) follow the Jackalopes @LetsGoJacks on twitter, B) "Like" the official "Odessa Jackalopes" fan-page on facebook, and C) be in attendence at the 2011-12 home opener September 30th during the first intermission.
The Odessa Jackalopes will celebrate their 15th Anniversary in 2011-12 and drop the puck on their inaugural campaign as a member of the North American Hockey League. Season tickets, mini-plans, and single game tickets are available by calling (432) 552-7825 or visiting jackalopes.org.
