ODESSA, TX- As part of their inaugural NAHL Training Camp, the Odessa Jackalopes announced Thursday that they will hold a full split-squad scrimmage Friday, August 26, at 8pm at MCM Ice Arena. The scrimmage will feature all 27 players currently on the training camp roster broken into two teams as the players continue to compete for the 23 final roster spots.
The scrimmage will start promptly at 8pm and is free and open to the public. Full team rosters will be available as will information on season and group ticket offerings for the 2011-12, 15th Anniversary season. Any questions should be directed to the Jackalopes offices by phone at 552-7825.
Fans are invited to visit proud Jackalopes sponsor Fuddruckers before or after the scrimmage at their Music City Mall location. Fudd's will be the site Monday nights at 7pm during the season for the "Jim's Tall & Big Man Shop Jacks Power Hour" radio show hosted by Jacks broadcaster Tony Brown and featuring Head Coach Paul Gillis and Jacks players starting September 26th broadcast live on the flagship station for Jackalopes Hockey, Classic Rock 102.1 FM.
