Players reach out to students at Jordan Elementary
ODESSA, TX– Members of the Odessa Jackalopes hockey team were at Barbara Jordan Elementary School Wednesday afternoon to read to 4th & 5th grade students, as well as kindergarteners. Players included Jalen Krogman, Justin Davis, Marcus Ortiz, John Follmer, and Matt Petersen. The Jackalopes open their 15th season this weekend at the Ector County Coliseum with games Friday and Saturday against Corpus Christi.
The Odessa Jackalopes celebrate their 15th Anniversary in 2011-12 and drop the puck on their inaugural campaign as a member of the North American Hockey League.
