Jackalopes Tender Pietraszek

Odessa, TX – The Odessa Jackalopes are excited to announce the signing of Martin Pietraszek to a tender. The signing is the first tender given out by the Jackalopes this season.

Pietraszek joined the Jackalopes briefly on October 27th and 28th where he played against the Lone Star Brahmas on the road as an affiliated player.

“Getting to play two games in Lone Star was a thrilling experience,” says Pietraszek. “I am excited to be a part of it all heading forward.”

In 11 games this season for the Colorado Springs Tigers 18U team of the NAPHL, Pietraszek has scored eight times while adding three helpers on the side. The 6-foot, 165-pound lefty is a physical being that can also put up good scoring numbers.

“We are excited to bring Marty on as part of our organization and team for next season.” Campbell continues. “He’s a player we have tracked for over three years now and his work and trust in his development process has lead him to this point. He brings speed and a good frame that’s going to continue to get stronger as he matures.”

The ’99 birth year hails from Colorado Springs, Colorado, and is playing his second season with the Tigers U18 team after two seasons with the Pikes Peak Miners 16U squad.

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include two (2) tenders exclusively used on players from the NAPHL – plus or minus any trades – which became active on Nov. 1. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft, which will be held on June 5, 2018.
