ODESSA, TX — The Odessa Jackalopes announced on Tuesday that they have signed their seventh and eighth tenders for the upcoming 2019-20 season. Goaltender Max Miller and forward Mark Gordon have both signed tender agreements with the Jackalopes for next season.

“I’m excited to get started with the Jacks” said Gordon, who currently plays with Belle Tire U18 in Michigan. “It’s going to be a great opportunity to grow not only as a player but as a person as well.”

Goaltender Max Miller is currently playing with Victory Honda U18. In twelve games this season Miller boasts a 1.54 goals against average and a .942 save percentage.

“Thank you to Coach Campbell and Coach Gatto for this opportunity. I am looking forward to playing for the Jackalopes!” Miller said.

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders plus or minus any trades, which became active on Nov. 1. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft.
