Jackalopes take three in Supplemental Draft

ODESSA, TX — On Tuesday, May 12 the North American Hockey League held it’s 2020 Supplemental Draft. Each of the 27 teams had three picks with the draft order determined by the order of teams in the NAHL Entry Draft, which will be held on July 21. The Odessa Jackalopes had the 2nd overall pick along with the 29th and 47th overall picks. In addition to their three picks, each team has been given an additional tender which can be utilized starting March 13.

The Jackalopes are proud to introduce fans to their picks in the 2020 NAHL Supplemental Draft.


Hunter is a 2000 birth-year and defenseman from Orland Park, Illinois. Standing tall at 6’1’’ and weighing 183 lbs, Carrick brings considerable USHL experience to the Jackalopes having been a veteran of teams such as the Omaha Lancers, Lincoln Stars, Chicago Steel, Muskegon Lumberjacks and Madison Capitols over the past three seasons. Carrick is currently committed to play Division I college hockey at Penn State University.


Goaltender Connor Hasley is a 2001 birth-year from North Tonawanda, New York, the same home town of Alex Cammare, one of the great goaltenders in Jackalopes history. Hasley stands at 6’2’’ and weights 183 lbs. He played most of last season with Northfield Mount Hermon School where he posted a 2.32 goals against average and a .934 save percentage. Hasley is currently committed to play Division I college hockey for Bentley University.


A 2001 birth-year defenseman, Moses Acee hails from Ballston Spa, New York. Standing at 6’1’’ and weighting 181 lbs, Acee spent this past season playing in Canada for the Alberni Valley Bulldogs of the British Columbia Hockey League. In his first BCHL season Acee garnered four goals and 11 assists for 15 points in 53 games played.
