JACKALOPES RETURN HOME FOR THREE-GAME WEEKEND
Jacks look to extend their two-game home winning streak on Thursday versus Topeka.
ODESSA, TX – The Odessa Jackalopes, members of the North American Hockey League, make their way back to the Permian Basin on Thursday night, November 14th, to take on the Topeka RoadRunners (10-8-2). On Friday and Saturday, the Jacks welcome in the Corpus Christi IceRays (6-11-5) to the Ector County Coliseum. The Jacks will be looking to get back to their winning ways. After winning three in a row, including a two-game home sweep of Corpus Christi, the Jacks dropped two in a row this weekend in Hidalgo, TX versus the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees.
“They (Corpus Christi) are a team we have had success against this season,” said veteran defenseman Tate Sykes during Monday night’s Jacks Power Hour Coaches Show. “We have to be more physical than we were this (past) weekend in Rio Grande Valley.”
On Saturday night, the first 1,000 fans will receive a Jackalopes soft puck courtesy of Guardian Wellhead. As always, the Blue Line Bar and Grill will be open on game day at 4:00PM. Stop by to enjoy the excellent bar menu or drop in to grab a cocktail before the game. The Odessa Jr. Jacks midget team plays the San Antonio Jr. Rampage 16U at 4:30PM on Saturday at the Coliseum. Come early to enjoy a pre-game tailgate in the parking lot by the East Entrance and support youth hockey in Odessa. The tailgate begins at 4:30PM. Also, bring your skates to the Jack Shack on Saturday night and you can skate with your favorite Jackalopes players after the game.
