Odessa, TX – The Odessa Jackalopes have announced that they will be hosting four tryout camps this upcoming summer to find new players in preparation for the 2017-18 NAHL season.
The first two camps the Jackalopes will hold will be pre-draft camps. The 2017 NAHL Entry Draft will take place on Tuesday, June 6th, 2017.
The camp dates will start on May 19-21 in Canton, Michigan. The Michigan camp will take place at the Arctic Edge Ice Arena. Michigan has helped to bring great players to Odessa, like the Zech brothers and Connor Hellebuyck.
The second pre-draft camp will take place the weekend before the draft. This camp will be held in San Jose, California at the Solar 4 America Ice on June 1-3, 2017.
After the NAHL draft, the Jackalopes will host two more camps throughout the summer. Players can travel to Colorado Springs, Colorado to participate in the Jackalopes final open camp before the main camp. This camp will take place on June 15-18, 2017 at the Sertich Ice Center.
The fourth and final camp will be the Jackalopes’ invite only, main camp. The main camp will be held in Geneva, Illinois from July 27-29, 2017 at the Fox Valley Ice Center.
All camps will guarantee you four games, and they will all be capped off with an all-star game on the final day.
