JACKALOPES WELCOME ZOOPERSTARS TO THE COLISEUM

Hockey fans’ favorite entertainment act invades Odessa on March 14

ODESSA, TX – The Odessa Jackalopes, members of the North American Hockey League, are proud to welcome the ZOOperstars on Saturday, March 14th when the Jackalopes host the Topeka RoadRunners at 7:05pm.

The ZOOperstars are loveable, outrageous, zany, and unpredictable inflatable zoo animals that are named creatively for the sport they represent. For example, Dominik Hashark, a shark inflatable representing six-time Vezina Trophy winner Dominik Hasek, Mario Lemule, representing three-time MVP and two time Stanley Cup winner Mario Lemieux, and finally Whale Gretzky, representing Wayne Gretzky, who is the all-time leader in goal scoring in NHL history.

The Jackalopes are the second NAHL franchise to host the ZOOperstars, who have delighted fans in NHL markets such as Vancouver, Calgary, Nashville, and Columbus.

“ZOOperstars in a fantastic event,” said Jacks Director of Hockey Operations Greg Gatto. “I saw the act before when I played and it was fantastic. The fans really seem to enjoy it and they make it fun for all ages.”

Tickets for the event start as low as $8 and are available at the Ector County Coliseum Box Office by calling (432) 552-7825 or by purchasing online at http://www.westtexastix.com/
